Pay tribute to America’s birthday with Rocket Parking this year by enjoying fun fireworks and patriotic parties.

What to do in Houston on 4th of July weekend 2014:

v  Freedom over Texas. Houston’s “official” 4th of July festival will be held at Eleanor Tinsley Park and boasts the largest “on-land” fireworks display in the country. This party starts at 4pm with a beer garden and ends at 9pm with fireworks set to patriotic music.

v  Free Concerts. Who doesn’t love freebies?! Enjoy patriotic songs and classical melodies brought to you by The Houston Symphony. The event begins at 8:30 at the Miller Outdoor Theatre and is concluded with an all-American fireworks display.

v  4th of July at Bayou Bend. Celebrate 4th of July with Houston’s Museum of Fine Arts. Enjoy a live reading of the Declaration of Independence at 3pm followed by birthday cake!

v  Breathtaking Fireworks. Visit Houston’s Woodland Waterway Square and witness a spectacular 23-minute firework extravaganza. Come fully prepared to play games, have your face painted, and see strolling musicians and performers.
